but blue has a double black pokey extreme the sequal to aspen extreme.

It's a proper rating ONLY because 80% of the time it's a complete sheet of ice, poorly groomed, loaded with gapers, and the blue mt race team.

Anywhere else it would be a blue trail with a kickass initial headwall.

Yeah. Sort of a [thread="17534"]perennial thread[/thread]...

You should probably qualify this thread as whether you mean in bounds, on map, or basically just anything (i.e. backcountry). I'm not a BC guy, but I can't imagine that 1 or 2 compare in any way to your 3-5. In fact, I can think of several on map runs that are more challenging than your 3-5, and I'm sure there are a lot more that I haven't skied.

Anyway, based on what I've skied (all on map), I say these are my top five:

1 - Paradise at MRG
2 - Rumble
3 - Castlerock Liftline
4 - Fall Line at MRG
5 - Redline at Magic

Back in the day before they mowed half of Outer Limits flat it was one of the hardest around. Very long and very steep non stop monster bumps. Now any Tony can slip down it.

I only remember Outer Limits as a bump run..I guess it would make a great high speed groomer as well which would make it more dangerous due to mad steezy speed....I think Rumble at Sugarbush can be a hard run...Some of the shots at Stowe like Tomba to the skiers right of the Waterfall are pretty steep for a several turns with some mandatory air..I'd estimate pitches in excess of 35 degrees and a wicked compression back onto Perry Merrill..
