Has anyone seen the new fashion this year?

New fashion trend. I have seen many snowboarders (not skiiers yet) wearing white snow camo pants and jackets. White helmets to boot. They are near impossible to see at night or during snow or fog. Snow camo ski apparel has to be one of the worst ideas I have ever heard of. Has anyone else seen these yet? WHich company is dumb enough to manufacture these?

Very cool stuff!

I really don't think it's as big an issue as you'd like it to be...

I like the way it looks...

Give 'em a couple of days on the hill, and they'll be way more black/brown/gray in color than white due to various episodes of dragging them across the floor of the lodge/chairlift grease drippings and general park related crashes ;)

Just never unstood white as the primary color for skiwear with how much dirt/grime one picks up (even when not trying) on a daily basis

I hope none of the kids wearing these get in a situation where they need to be rescued but don't because the helicopters can't see them in the trees. Stay on the trail with those outfits, kiddies.

As long as images of war permeate our TV screens - kids will wear camo..

I haven't seen much of the white on white. All the Killington "hopefuls" and KMSers are in very bright primary colors this year. Can't miss 'em.

We went through the whole white suit thing in the early 90's... Until they all got grease on them from the lifts...

I don't see the big deal. I might wear something like that if I didn't know it would look filthy after a short amount of time. And I'm not quite a young kid anymore..

Every ski jacket I own has either grease from the lifts or paint from the lifts on them. So yeah, not a fan personally of a white ski outfit.

I haven't noticed it yet. I'll have to consult my son he's a quasi Park Rat. He's one of those who likes to wear loud oufits and would know the trends. My yellow and black parka for the spring is as loud as I get.

I like the last few years of snowboard jackets with the wild prints. Not too far off from the 1980's which I think was the most fun era for ski clothing.

I've always hated the "Spyder look". I'm always expecting the people wearing that kind of outfit to say "You people... stay out of our way. You may ski on zis side OR on zat side, but stay out of zee meedle!"

I've been in Gore-Tex technical hooded shells for 20 years. I have an Arc'Teryx terra cotta brick red colored one and an Arc'Teryx orange one I wear most of the time.

I need live pics

If you see some camo dude or dudettes out there snap a pic and post them. Could be some fun viewing. Snap away at some gapers while you're at it.
