The comments in the table squatters thread about piles of gear reminded me of a simple solution that's far more common in Europe than in New England. Scattered around the lodges in Europe, above the tables, they have ropes stretched between posts and walls like clotheslines. These inexpensive modifications to the lodge allow skiers and riders to clip their helmets to the clothesline and free up table space. Why haven't New England resorts caught on to such a simple solution to table clutter?
