Greg said:That's really slow. Dial-up modem speeds. Most broadband uploads speeds are 384 - 512 kbps or faster. Are you still having problems?teachski said:It was uploading at about 24.0 to 28.0 KB/S, that's not too bad (I don't think)
Well, you are correct. Just never heard bandwidth in terms of kiloBYTES per second (8 bits in a byte for all you non-geeks)...andyzee said:Greg if teackski is getting 28KB/S as opposed to 28kbs, that's not so bad. It would amount to 224 kbs.
Please tell me your new host offers some decent stat programs. Some of the common pre-installed ones are Webalizer, AWStats and Analog. I like AWStats the best. Alternatively, you can download your raw access logs and use a tool like Weblog Expert to view all sorts of great stats (referrer data is the most valuable - tells you where your visitors are coming from). If you're just looking to display a hit counter on your page and not interested in really digesting your stats, just Google "hit counter". There are hundreds of free ones out there.teachski said:ANYONE KNOW OF A GOOD, FREE, PAGE COUNTER?
