What part of Florida are they saying that it's going to hit? I have relatives in Pensacola and I hope that they don't get hit this year, but no one can guarentee anything.

Sorry to say Jonni, but it's predicted to hit the Panhandle which I believe Pensacola is in. I feel your pain as my parents are down in Florida as well.

I'm on the vol. FD and all a bad storm means to me is no sleep, putting up road barriers and looking for dead people in Class V rapids. That's a long story...

I'd like a Cat 1 or 2 around here sometime. Not very destuctive, but still the big wind and rain... talk about fun on the beach for a weather freak.

Two weeks into the hurricane sseason, and we already have one. Awesome. Global warming is clearly just a myth.
