I'm happy to say that I got to go to a Stanely Cip final at the gahden. Against the Oilers I beleive...93 maybe...gotta look that up.

Pretty much a dump...really strange though was the steepness of it all...I don't think there was a bad seat in the house.
I believe it was the 89-90 season. What a year for Andy Moog and Reggie Lemelin. They should have won that triple-OT game if Wesley hadn't shot over the open net....

And yes, there were bad seats in the old Garden. I've sat in a couple.

When I first read the subject of this thread, "Hot Stove Hockey" I thought it was going to be about when you come in from the snow to a hot wood stove and drop little chunks of ice on the stove and bat it around with your gloves.

Whoever gets it to fall off the other man's edge first before it vaporizes wins!

Now that was a fun game.

As for this ice hockey business... well.. never followed the pro's much really. I liked actually playing (even though I stunk on ice at it) much more than watching.
