AFTERNOON. THE SNOW MAY BE HEAVY AT TIMES WEDNESDAY NIGHT THROUGH

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BILLINGS HAS ISSUED A WINTER
STORM WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM WEDNESDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
THURSDAY MORNING.

A STRONG LATE SPRING STORM WILL MOVE INTO THE AREA TUESDAY
AFTERNOON. AS IT DOES SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED. THE
PRECIPITATION IS EXPECTED TO CHANGE OVER TO SNOW BY WEDNESDAY
AFTERNOON AND CONTINUE THROUGH THURSDAY MORNING. THE SNOW MAY BE
HEAVY AT TIMES. TOTAL SNOW ACCUMULATIONS OF 12 TO 18 INCHES ARE
POSSIBLE BY THURSDAY MORNING.

A WINTER STORM WATCH IS ISSUED WHEN SEVERE WINTER WEATHER IS
POSSIBLE BUT NOT IMMINENT. AT THIS TIME THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR
SIGNIFICANT SNOW AND OR ICE ACCUMULATIONS. FUTURE DRIVING AND
WALKING CONDITIONS MAY BECOME HAZARDOUS SO IT IS IMPORTANT TO

My Montana Connections said he drove through a pretty crazy snow storm on the way to Missoula two weeks ago.

It's dumping at Big Sky right now and the webcam shows about 6" at the base. Pretty cool for June8)

I am sure any legitimate scientist on the issue would point this out

It's funny though. People don't like listening to the scientists. It's not like they are trying to rain on people's parades, they're just making observations. On the whole, we do have a pretty selective ear when it comes to hearing only what we want to hear.
