i usually get 25 + full days on the hill -- i dont get to ski anything for an hr or two the closest hill is an hr and 15 minutes so its a full day open to close. If i lived NEAR i 'd ski 3/4 days week

This yr however its been a challenge we've been out once a week on average since late December some weeks more but the numbers are based on conditions . No longe rinterested in WRODS or fast rocks n' slooow grass :D

Hear you...I'm getting tired of WRODs as well but regardless of conditions if I don't get out once every couple of weeks I get grumpy about it. Ideally I'd be out every weekend but don't think the family would appreciate that too much. Was nice when I "had" to go out once a week for night racing.

I need to be outdoors often all year long to keep my sanity so eventhough conditions have been sub-prime more often than not, I've been averaging 2-3 days a week and wil continue that for the rest of the season. At least there were 4 or 5 pretty good days in the mix so far. That ratio shoudl go up for the second half as I expect we will get at least some snow and then even if we don't spring skiing days are great.

Hammer i agree -- i'm like a caged lion at times once a week id absolute BARE MINIMUM for me i seem happiest at twice/ a week on average. Luckily i do have lots of other interests BUT luv to ski

Was out yesterday had a great day blubird ,35 degrees , fast as hell we skied 24 runs .

But i pulled a bone headed play -- came into the lift running "pretty hot :D ) on our "lunch run" and these 2 women decide to ski and stop right in my final glide path :D

Well i i'm under a full head on steam and see that they stopped like 5 ft in front of me so i went in to a power stop and as i would have it there was a patch of SILVER dammit !!!

So i pulled the damn groin area i had yanked out a couple weeks ago dammit so i'm a bit "tender today ". -- My own damn fault being an AH. Gotta slow down at least on the approach :D:D Didn't stop me tho we ran hot the rest of the day -- another dozen runs after it .

Happy trails !

While I would like to get out more, I have to get out weekly. Any longer than that and I would go crazy. Once a week is pretty much how often I get out, but I NEVER miss a week, and with an October to May season and a few bonus days thrown in, I easily get 30+ days a season. I enjoy skiing regardless of conditions, but I also enjoy driving up and beers with friends, so there is never a reason for me to skip a ski day.

I missed one weekend since the end of October. I will have taken about a months Vacation by the end of the season. So ifs 180 day season. 2.57 day a week.

I also have only missed one weekend since Oct. Mid winter I need to ski at least 5 days a week. I will probably get 80+ days in this year hopefully skiing into May. About average for me.

Would love to some day when I retire be able to ski say 183 days in a row and then play golf for the next 182 days in a row and have one GREAT year! :)

Sounds like you're trying to avoid the Tough Mudder.

As for the question, I could ski everyday and be happy. If I can't get out much at all I'm okay, there are plenty of other things to keep me busy/entertained. But I think I would miss going on a ski trip more than the home area skiing.
