Everyday while trapped behind my desk. After 28 years the only thing that keeps me at this desk is the hope of earning a good enought retirement to support my addiction.

I could not have said it better. Addiction is in my tagline.

More than twice a day, less than hourly. Our skiis hang next to my closet, so I see them 3-4 times a day. Plus, I went all high school and stuck ski posters up on the wall around the ski rack.
I was getting a fan out of the closet yesterday, and the roof rack hit me in the head. Double whammy, there.

There are days where it's on my mind constantly. Today is one of those days. Usually something will be the catalyst for that. In today's case, it was a trip report on TGR about skiing the Maroon Bells.

But on most days, honestly, it's hourly. Honestly.
It's pretty hard to be thinking about skiing non-stop when we are in what I call the "be responsible for your life" months.

Here is that TR, by the way: http://www.tetongravity.com/forums/showthread.php?t=31153

I selected November. I would of picked October, but it was not a choice.

As much as I enjoy the winter & skiing. I like this time of year for trips, hiking, mountain biking, swimming, beach, bbq, etc.

I like to end the ski season on a positive note, and I feel I did at Killington in May. That is a sufficient carry over until the start of next season.

Always. That's way I'm in this forum and other ski forums in the off season. I like to hear from and converse with like minded obsessed people.

I fantasize about it alot to, things I hope will happen in the coming seasons.

i think the always on the brain is a little exagerated. c'mon guys, always? i do fall into the three times a day catagory hands down but definitely not always. i do put myself to bed every night thinking about skiing, and i do mean everynight. my desktop is almost always skiing related, so it's usually one of the first things i see and thus think about in the morning when i fire up my computer. and i will definitely think about something skiing related during any given afternoon at least once. likely while i'm driving around and trying to find possible lines in the hills or dreaming of power line powder shots :)

Skiing is always on my mind as well, my screen saver at home is of Sugarloaf, and at work it is of my son with Mount Washington/Tuckerman Ravine in the backround.

My brother is the one who got me involved in skiing when I was 12 years old, and even though he now lives in Montreal and we do not see each other much,
we still talk about skiing even on the hottest day in August. This is something that amazes my wife to this day.
