How old were you when you got your first seasons pass?

My granddaughter got hers yesterday at the age of 8 months! I thought that was pretty cool. My son works at Sunday River so his family gets complimentary seasons pass. His wife went to get hers yesterday and they also did one for Addy. She can ski at any ASC resort in the US! Something to put in the scrapbook.

Haven't gotten a season pass yet. Plan on getting one next season after I find a resort worth dropping the cash for.
So I guess I'll be 42.. jesus... when did that happen..

33. This year is my first year as a pass holder anywhere - Hunter and Sundown. My daughter at 3 is also a pass holder at Sundown.

I feel tied down by day tickets. You're committed to the day you ski. I feel obligated to ski as much as possible to get my money's worth, I feel stressed to find the best terrain and snow on the mountain ASAP, wonder if I'm missing out on a better trail somewhere, and worry about conditions being or turning sour.

With a pass, esp the ASC pass, if conditions suck or it's super crowded, eh, no big deal. Just come another day.

Never thought of it that way, but very good point. I have the ASC pass and a share in a ski house. Went up this past Sunday, took one run down, didn't like the conditions, went home. I was up there for a party Saturday, so the trip to VT wasn't a waste and there was no feeling that we needed to get a day of skiing in on Sunday.
