I like the colorful easter(?) dye on the one trail...

I also got a little unsettled by the direction the pictures flipped...felt v. non-chronological to my western brain's conception of linear time.

Thats Hunter attempt at summer skiing on plastic chips.. People say you can still find chips under rocks up there...

Now that is a nice bit of nostalgia, and those were plastic chips really! That is cool.

Never get tired of that stuff dmc...

thanks... I get really interested in the history of the place... There's a great story behind the place as I'm sure there are with most hills...

there are primative snowguns in a couple of the shots...

Izzy used to drive his Lincoln up Belt Parkway back in the day... :) What did he care... If it got stuck... He's just call someone to get it unstuck... I miss that guy...

I was about to say, I thought those looked like snowguns. Actually, the big yellow portable guns Hunter drags out all the time....are almost as old as these pictures. (1965 or so).
