My wife's in the car driving upto Killington right now to first decrease Aspen East's supply of Volkl Aurora's by 1, and then get them on-snow and enjoy this GREAT day.

Meanwhile, I'm in the office, and then when I'm done I get to drive 30 miles SOUTH to pick up one of the kids(usually her job since her office is very near my daughter's school) before driving North to VT later on.

I'm guessing it's going to get tougher when I start getting on-hill reports from her, and then more than likely get stuck in a traffic jam on I-91 this afternoon.

Oh boy...not to add insult to injury... Melissa has those skis on her short list. Guess what they'll be talking about tomorrow night?

Glenn, if Melissa has any questions about the merits of the 154 vs. 161 and/or powder vs steep groomers vs just cruising performance, Sue can answer them. This conversation could get pretty entertaining IMHO after a couple of glasses of wine and a few Stoli Vanilla's and Diet Cokes!

Cash those points in as soon as you can. Somehow my points seem to expire if I don't use them in a timely fashion.

HD

HD, I have a plan to cash them in in about 2 weeks, so those points aren't going to "stay in the bank" too long and get lost (or hopefully not need to be cashed in sooner than that because I did something stupid ;) )

LMAO! We can make that happen! We'll conspire whilst the grilling takes place.

"Do you think Neoprene Butt Guy would like the 154's or the 161's?"

And does she earn "points" when SHE works and schleps kids around while you are off doing your thing?? Or, is that just the norm and expected? :stirpot:

Flip....

I'm trying how to get Trekchick points so I can go to Abasin for Mother's Day again this year.
I was thinking about pointing out MrTC's two icebike purchases earlier this winter, but I already used that one when I was in Aspen for a week........

Anyone have ideas how I can move the points balance in my favor?

No kidding huh?! :flame:

Ooooo, I like this.

BTW, the Auroras are terrific skis. Congrats to her!

Lets see, to the estrogen side of AZ who thinks thats its all just a testosterone whining thing here. My wife trains pretty much year round for triathalons, which has me with full on dual kid wakeup/get ready for school duties every Mon/Wed/Fri and then atleast 2, more often 3 nights a week, I get full dual kid bedtime duties too. I typically in biking season get 1 night a week where I ride and she puts them to bed. Then, ski season wise, I have a grand total of 4 more day than her this year(see the next sentence for why it's suprising that it isn't more!) And don't even get me started on the now 4 weekends since Thanksgiving where she's been away at conferences/meetings and I've had full weekend dual kid duties.

BTW, she was ripping on the Auroras this weekend!

That one was all me, my creative mind(with some help from Vcunning who built a snowbar outside of his place a few weeks ago), and the 5 and a half foot deep drift that was still on my back deck from the storm 3 weeks ago. No points needed for this one!
