Yesterday, I proposed to Ms. Trailboss at our alma mater, Middlebury. Needless to say, she accepted :D and right now we are both on Cloud Nine. :spin:

We are planning either a late 2007 or a 2008 wedding to be held either in VT or MA. Nothing has been set yet.

It was an incredible weekend....her ring is beautiful...

We spent the night at the Swift House Inn complete with our own fireplace and an incredible dinner.

We also took in a great Middlebury Hockey Game.

We've both been waiting a long time for this and we're both really excited. There were a lot of good tears shed this weekend, a lot of hugs, and a lot of kisses.

The Future Bride and Groom to be at Sunday River, February 2005:

Hey Hey Hey!!!!! What great news! Don't let any jaded friends ruin this wonderful time of your life. Marriage is great! Enjoy your engagement. If you need any advice on the wedding (I'm only 3 years married so I'm not too out of touch with the planning scene) let me know. I have a great website where we got our invitations at for a real fair price, if you need it.

Congrats, TB, this is wonderful news!

Yes, soon to be Mrs. I'm the happiest man in the world...she's still in tears.

We did not do this on the slopes. Instead at the place where we first fell in love...had a friend go up and set the whole place up for us...complete with the same type, brand, vintage of wine that we first enjoyed up there together three years ago! She was floored! Never seen someone as excited and nervous! I then got down on my knee and the rest is history...

My wife's ring came direct from the diamond district in Manhattan. Saved a ton that way and she got a lot more ring than she would have otherwise.

Yep, I had a guy come into my office with a whole bunch of stones. I picked one out then went to the store a few days later to pick out the setting. She's got a nice, GIA certified diamond with a beautiful setting and has no clue how much I saved on it.

Congratulations!

www.VermontWeddings.com Make sure you check out MRV as a wedding locale....order a really classy info packet right from the site or pm me. You proposed on my 22nd wedding anniversary. We were dirt poor and bought our wedding bands two for $50 from a pawn shop! I still wear it, complete with someone else's initials and date to remind me of how far we have come from those days.
