I love yard sale deals!!

Driving my daughter to her friends house, we drive by a yard sale and several pairs of newer looking junior skis catch my eye. I have started looking for 110cm's for my son (ebay, craigslist, calling different local stores and hit a couple in N. Conway, etc) but so far no great deals, so what are the chances I will just randomly drive by a yard sale and find something?

Well, not only did we pick up a pair of Elan junior shaped skis with marker bindings that look hardly skied on for $5.00, we also picked up a pair of 120cm rossi's for my neighbor's kid for $5.00! Sweet deals! I have already tuned 'em up!

Nice find! I've pretty much given up on stopping at yard sales, never seem to find anything good. Perhaps there is hope...

Damn, I've specially been looking for skis at yard sales with no luck, got a Ullr party coming up the end of September. What would that be without a nice bonfire made up of skis. Oh well, at least I have one pair that I can contribute.
