POWDER ALERT!
A healthy serving of fresh snow is waiting for skiers this morning at Snowbird. 9" of powder fell overnight and the NWS forecast is calling for an additional 2"-5" of snow today! Check the Snowbird Snow Report to see the latest snow and weather updates.

As soon as I recover from my recent surgery, we are packing the "Penske" truck and headed for the Wasatch. I hope to be out there by mid Feb.

I hope that you are feeling well. I just confirmed our reservation at Keystone and they got 8" of snow today with 3-5" in the forecast tonight and the mountain is 95% open.

Must be you didn't get the memo: it has been decided that December 30-31st was the extent of our winter.   We had about 6-10 inches of pow. If you skied it, you skied it. If not, you missed it.

Now back to our irregularly scheduled winter.
