I'm very jealous! Give my regards to the Pali Chair! I was there last week. Enjoy and safe travels!

Got lazy to post a TR but here are some:

Even though I was invited and could have gone, I'm still very jealous! Ski a few runs for me! I KNOW you will have a blast!!!!

snoseek is the best ski buddy you can have in CO. He knows where the best snow is -- and also the best microbrews and burritos. Good man!
I have no doubt you are speaking the truth, but we keep seeming to miss each other on my many trips to Colorado :(

I will say this.......I go to Colorado alone quite often, but I never ski alone. I think I have as many friends out there as I have here in Michigan.
And they always take me to the best snow! YAY ME!

I was there in early April. Your first 2 pics look a lot snowier than what I saw. JetBlue Boston-Denver direct makes summit county remarkably "weekend-able".

It dumped about 20" the day before I got there. It dumped 9" after lifts closed so the next day was a sleeper powder day. They predicted 2" but got more. I should look into Jetblue. I usually do Delta because they let me check in bags for free.

I hope to join you someday on a CO adventure! I'm also a solo skier most of the time -- which explains all my "landscape" photos in my TRs. It was my first time out there last week and I'm a believer. Weekday lift tickets to ABasin are $25 on Liftopia now. Hmmm...

I have had an Abasin bonus pass for the past 4 years. That is unlimited Abasin and 5 lift tickets for Breckenridge and Keystone.
I get my $$ worth every year without question, mostly because I have resources for lodging out there that make it a no-brainer.

Enjoy your trip, I'm envious!

Its not like you and Carrie weren't invited. ;)

BTW I like your self portrait you have in your new avatar.

Thanks about the avatar, I don't know why people say they're freaked out by it...

First year as a bonus pass holder, I was hoping to get out there for some May turns -- Probably not happening though, maybe next year!

Wednesday/thurs off. They have potential to be some of the deepest days of the year!
