Did the new additions come in an email? Can’t seem to verify. Owl’s Head and Sutton would be exciting.

Currently filling out stuff to get a birth certificate copy so I can finally get a passport. My procrastination problem is very real

Glad to see they're making good progress in Quebec. A few of the new places should work for me this year. Was hoping for Grouse or Mt. Cain in BC, but no luck. Hockley is one that was always on the Descente passport, never made it there, probably won't with Indy either.

Which ski areas dropped off? So far I know of Montage PA, Sunrise AZ, Buck Hill MN (replaced with Hyland), Swiss Valley (not sure if it was on last year). Was Whitecap WI on there last year, maybe as Allied. Looks like Paul Bunyon might gone as Allied, it shows on the map but not the list.

Owl's head and Sutton are great additions. It makes the Jay Peak portion of the pass more valuable. Owl's Heads is a 30 minute drive from Jay. Now its really easy to do a week vacation there and ski 2 days at Jay, 2 at Owls Head and 2 a Sutton. That's actually kind of awesome.
If you want to make it 8 days you can hit Burke on the way up and on the way back as well!

My plan for Feb school vacation will be

Jay x 2
Sutton x 1
Owl's Head x1
Burke x1

The best thing about adding Burke, Sutton and Owl's Head is you can save Jay for midweek when it's less crowded.

If I were retired and had the free time to travel, I'd also be quite excited about Eduourd and Val D Irene. Both look like fantastic mid sized areas.

Interesting that they got Eduourd and not Grande Fonds or Lac-Vert. I think they're all run by the same company.

Eduourd was great the day I skied there. The tree skiing was beautiful. I remember you'd cross over some wooden bridge in the middle of the woods and on the other side was fresh tracks all day. The other larger one up that way is Valinouet, I was there on a weekend, so even though the snow was great, the fresh did last as long. If Indy could get that along with Grande Fonds and Lac-Vert, it could make for a nice trip up that way.

I didn't realize Indy bumped their prices up like others with later purchases. I paid $429 for me and $239 for my kids in February for Indy +.

Indy Pass Pricing - Final Sale for 2025/26
Indy Base Pass $449 Adult / $299 Kids (12-and-under)
Indy+ Pass $599 Adult / $329 Kids (no blackouts)
Indy AddOn Base $349 Adult / $229 Kids
Indy AddOn+ Pass $429 Adult / $249 Kids (no blackouts)

The only real complaint I can come up with regarding Indy is the $30 I was forced to spend on worthless pass cards. Makes zero sense to have it other than people wanting a souvenir. You can't even use it at their owned Black Mountain. You still need to get a mountain specific RFID.

Burke is not far from Jay either. With a stop at hill’s farmstead

Indy loves to use mildly obfuscating copy in their PR. They lumped ALL of the 25-26 additions into this announcement even if they had announced them previously. For such a cool pass product they do some amateurish things.
Yes, I was trying to find the ”43 new resorts” somewhere. Burke and Tenney were definitely already announced, I already had a February itinerary planned that included Burke.
Tenney is super close to our NH house so this will be the year I finally visit!

Mount Edouard is a full pass partner with Mount Bohemia. As a result, you can ski the whole season there for $112.

I'm stoked for Owls Head and Sutton. I was already planning on doing Burke / Jay for NH school vacation week and popping over the border for a day and just paying cash. Owls Head was already pretty cheap last time we did it. I may still pay cash for Orford if the conditions look warranted.

If you’re interested in skiing in the eastern townships, you should check out the L’est go card put out by the Township tourism board. If you buy four days or more during the pre-sale which runs from September 4 to December 9, with the discount and the exchange rate you’re looking at about $54-$55 a day for skiing.

The nice thing about this card is the days don’t expire, if you don’t use them this year, you can roll them over until next year.
