I'm going to be at Tremblant from January 20-22 with a huge group of people from school. I've never been so I'm looking for any info about the skiing there. How are the glades? How about the north vs. south sides? Any must-ski trails? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Ski the Edge...but don't tell anyone I told you to. If you can bear with the nonhighspeed lift, the Egde has some of the best skiing on the Mountain. The Edge liftline is one of the best (I think it's called Haute-Tension). Emotion is a pretty challenging glade, while Sensation and Reaction are tons of fun with wide trees.

My experience at Tremblant has lead me to avoid the South side. The south side is for tourists. The North Side is for skiers/riders.

Oh yeah if you can get into the Versant Soliel glades there is usually great snow.

Did 5 days there 3 years ago on a family vacation. As the above post says the North side is where it's at. There is also a lift on the East side with a good bump run under the chair and glades on either side of that. My son and I spent alot of time there.

I've been skiing Tremblant for years> Our group live about 3hrs away so we get there several times each season

We prefer teh North side and follow the sun and Ski the North Side especially in am then venture overto the Soleil area then in the pm since you've not been there try the south side .The North side and the Edge is for hardcore , South side is more crowded but has the Village ambiance.

the Soleil has some good stuff too .

Glades are very cool

But bsure to bring your warmest stuff including balaclava , face mask and helmet it gets very cold at Tremblant .

Also try a search on this site and Epic ski on Tremblant. I did just that and came up with even more info. We will be there for a first time family trip Dec 14-17 and I cannot wait. Hope for snow!

Also good info and message board: http://www.tremblant-insider.com/
