MAY hit KMart this weekend - but I doubt it...
Hitting Tux the first weekend of May - probably spend few days at the shelters.. Hoping to fill a shelter with my friends.. Going to be a party... Late Tux trips tend to be a big party..

Just remember - crampons and alcohol do not mix well...

My Season ended on 3/10  I am already tired of her song.

I got 20 days in, which is 12 days more than last year. I went from surviving blues to confidence on blacks, and bronze in Nastar. So overall it wasn't too shabby.

Only 220 days till next season when I tackle the trees & bumps
If it gets good next season, hit Plattekill. This was the first season in years I didn't hit it. Not good.

Oh man, you call that singing? I dare say the fat ladying is belting out bloddy opera! Still another month or two before I call it quits, Fat Lady can roar until the ice falls down in Tucks for all I care
Exactly. Still probably not as much left for me as you, but I would say I still got atleast another month left of ski season. This bad snow year means the autoroad will be opening earlier. My dad is pretty siked about the auto road and no approach(unlike tux 3 mile approach) so I'll probably be up there most weekends if the weather is good.

It's also the first year I went out West and (not coincidentally) the year I learned how to lean way back and make tracks in deep snow.
You should be centered on your skis in pow - not leaning way back.

I'm at 67 days and still plan on making 70 lift serviced ski days. I made opening and closing day at Loon and got to meet alot of new faces..Az race team, Cannon outing, a few Sunday River outings and regae weekend.
. Life goes on. I use to say I would ski in the mud and dirt. This year the lifts will close and I will have to hike to do that. Ski season could have been better, but no complaints. I will have skied form Nov to April, Maybe May. The Season is long, if you get out enough is all seems good with excellent revisionist history.

My season isn't over quite yet. I'm hitting Sugarbush North and Stowe for the weekend, starting on Fri. 4/21 a.m. I realize the conditions will be spotty but I'm hoping to get some good runs in before any major rain falls (as is predicted for the weekend).

I'm hoping FIS at the top of Mt. Ellen will have nice spring bumps (better than Superstar's bumps this year anyway). It will be one last weekend of lift served for me and then I'll hang it up until November. My children's activities demand my attention this time of year.

Skiing at Stowe on Sunday 4/23 is FREE (they encourage a donation of some sort). Sunday will apparently be Stowe's last day of the season. I like FREE skiing!! If you're in the area, come on out!!

FIS is probably my favorite spring trail, as it is far enough up that the temps be just right when Exterminator or Stiens at South might be too soft.

i'm planning on skiing Jay tomarrow and maybe this weekend too. I haven't been out since last friday, I can imagine some walking is required everywhere except maybe the Jet n' stuff. I've actually played a couple rounds of golf this week, Orleans CC had its earliest opening ever on 4/15. I can't remember seeing spring foliage so early in the year, Odd.

good turns to be had today. no walking at all on the Jet and Haynes, they've pushed the snow around nice at the base so you can ski right to the lift, flyer was closed today. getting thin towards the base the last flatter part of the Jet only has a 10 ft wide path to ski, I usually straight line it anyway. I even skied the derick hot shot which the main entrance was roped off, but the entrance to the right wasn't. I jumped in and skied almost the whole way down with only hitting a few bare patches and dirt skiing, it was really cool trying to find a way down with patches of snow connecting each other. I even went into timbuktu, which was still totally skiable up top, i'm pretty sure their isn't any other lift served natural snow skiing left in the east, I love trying to patch lines together in the trees on natural snow.

tomarrow looks like the last lift serviced day of the year with rain expect on sunday it will probably shut. I will probably hike/skin a couple times especially if it snows again, last year I skied 8" of pow on april 29th!, 4 years ago it snowed 18" on May 17th!, hoping for more of the same.

I probably won't make it to washington this year, cuz of no snow at lower elevations. I hate hiking out after the day is over, been there done that, but more power to you guys that do! sounds like its good up there.
