Is there still snow on top of the green Mountains specifically the wooster range or has it all melted. Is it hikable if the snow melted or is it too muddy?

A lot of the trails in the Greens are closed during mud season. These trails open up again Memorial Day weekend. I would give GMC a call to see what the trails are like or go here for some suggested mud season hikes: http://www.greenmountainclub.org/page.php?id=60
I know there is a sign for the trail from the west side of the range that goes up Mt. Hunger & that last April there was still snow late in the month. It would not surprise me if they open them a week or so early but still likely too muddy.
The Whites and the peaks up in Maine do definitely still have snow, so there's a good chance the higher Greens do as well. The GMC link is a definite to follow, since the state does actually close trails during the spring up there.
