That's awesome! I always loose track after around the 3rd time, my memory isn't all that good.. That's why I started tracking in my signature this year.

I think what's most interesting about my day count, is most of them are at Sundown. I've actually blown off trips to Vermont to ski down here. I'm not bothered by that one bit.

If I skied more and had a pass at one location, I'd be less inclined to keep track I think. I will still finish with over 20 days for the year, most since 2000-2001 for me, but my pace has unfortunately slowed. At one point I thought I might able to hit 30 days, but with my schedule as busy as it this spring, it's looking like 21-24 will be where I'll end up.

If I didn't keep track in my sig, then I have a back up system at home where I have a small spiral notebook that i keep in the bathroom next to my toiletries, where I write down my daily physical activity (including ski days) - it just serves as a visual reminder for me each and every morning that I should get off my a$$ at somepoint during the day and do some physical activity :)

Variety has definitely been the best part of my season and I still plan on Sugarbush and Burke to bring my total to 16 different areas, which would definitely be a record for me.

Next season I'm leaning towards a Ragged pass, which would bring the variety down considerably, but the quantity up some. Only hang up I have is lack of consistent bumps there from what I've read. Closest good bump options would be Sunapee or Loon, but both of their pass prices would pretty much hand cuff me to spending my whole season there.

Stowe and maybe Sugarbush are legitimately the only places in the east I would be happy skiing every single day of the season, but both are too far away from me to consider a pass.

i made a point of tracking days this year. if for nothing else to satisfy my curioisity as to whether puchasing a season pass to Sundown was worth it in the end.

That actually was my main reason too, even though I knew it would be worth it anyway. I actually made a detailed spreadsheet with all the different ticket options and prices built in so that I could track just how good of a deal it was, but I got too lazy and forgot to actually fill it in once the season got rolling.

Kept count to justify the Mt. Snow passes. We broke even in January. It's been saving us money ever since. 8)

i did the same. funny thing is my skiing pattern at sundown turned out to be nothing like what i expected it to be. i figured many more weeknights and hardly any weekends, turned out opposite.

the wed. night get together were sparse this season. i think i had more weekend spring bump days than night sessions. :)

My Nor'easter is at $20.63 a day (and decreasing!) right now :) If it all works out right I should have it down to about $15 a day by the time the lifts stop spinning :)

I would've lost count of the Wachusett days without my sig and/or TRs. I paid for that pass by about mid-December. Now, it's come out to $7.74 a day there (27 days, $209).

This is what they make excel for.....that's just my preference. Cool to see all the places I've skied, when I skied them, who I skied them with, etc......my wife thinks I'm wierd....as I know a few friends do as well who have seen my spreadsheet.

oh, i hear ya. thing about it is, i know where i've been. Killington (3), Sundown (?), Sunapee (1), Magic (1), Bromley (1). thats the easy part, not much variety this year. but i've lost count of my sundown days, which is probably a good thing. i didnt buy a pass and i dont want to know how much this ended up costing me........

Same here. Turns out, I learned that weekend days aren't that bad crowd-wise and ended up preferring them to weeknights.

There was a point that I was hoping for 30 days, but I've been so busy lately that it's unlikely to happen, especially since it's quite likely the potential-A-basin trip will be bagged due to lack of snow in May. I've skied more this season than in seasons prior: there's always next year.

Lesson learned? ;)
