Your Sugarloaf threw me off for a sec. But I forgot there's a Sugarloaf in MI, I think that's the reason Sugarloaf ME had the USA in its name.

Nope! I was an instructor there. The Skiway is a great place. Made better by Dartmouth foreign exchange students from the Caribbean who've never skied before, let alone seen snow. Some of the happiest people on the slopes. Just stay out of their way.

How about King Ridge, NH? It was an upside down area with parking and the lodge at the top. Firm conditions on the Mad Hatter trail on wooden skis with no steel edges and leather lace up boots was memorable.

Worked there for 6 seasons
