JAY, Vermont — As cost of living increases every year, it's natural assume that the price of products and services will also increase – not so at Jay Peak. This season, the resort will be lowering the price of its Student Season Pass, which is available to kids from 6 to 25 years of age, provided they are full time students. Jay Peak has dropped rate by $60 and will be offering the new Student Season Pass at $219 this season – a more than 25% decrease from last season.

"Kids are less and less active these days", said Bill Stenger, President of the Resort. "We already have several programs in place to encourage people, kids and adults alike, to get out and be active – this is just an extension of that. I've always maintained that skiing and riding are the perfect family activities because kids and parents can enjoy these sports together; our new season pass pricing makes it more affordable for families to do that."

The new Jay Student Season Pass includes unlimited access to Jay Peak and all of its sister resorts in the Laurentians (Québec) – Mont Saint-Sauveur, Mont Avila, Morin Heights, Mont Olympia, and Mont Gabriel. Like Jay Peak, these resorts have distinct personalities of their own but together offer some of the best night skiing, terrain parks, and après ski experiences in the Northeast. Jay Peak season passes also include discounts at 14 other Mountains of Distinction throughout New England (i.e. Okemo, Windham, Wachusett, Jiminy Peak, etc.)

All of Jay Peak's season pass pricing is available online at www.jaypeakresort.com and can be purchased over the phone by calling 802.988.2611 or 1.800.451.4449.

That's no deal! They were selling the "College Pass" at $199 up until now. Has the college pass now been merged with this program (hence the 25 yr number)?
