I wish the management of Mount Washington and the Presidentials was more like Baxter and Katahdin. I wouldnt mind some red tape to help preserve the mountain for the future. Katahdin and the surrounding park is pretty much exactly the same as it was when it was originaly protected. And it will remain that way so my sons kids kids can enjoy the SAME park we enjoy today.Less is more when it comes to enjoying the wilderness IMO.
Of course I love my spontaneous trips to MW too.
