Keeping up New Music/Bands

So what I want to know is how people keep it fresh with new music and keeping up with all the bands you like? I use iTunes to manage my collection but find it hard to keep up with all of the bands I like. Any other ways you find out about new bands or new sounds?

I have found some pretty good stuff using pandora.

I've only played with it a little bit, but Pandora definitely is cool. I also love Sirius. Hear a song you like and the title/band is right on the display.

Sometimes I follow the "others who bought this, also bought..." links in iTunes and find some stuff I didn't know about.

In general, through going to a couple music festivals each summer like the one I'm going to this weekend. There are usually a dozen or so bands I've never heard of and out of those one or two that blow me away during an afternoon time slot. Then during the rest of the year I try and catch them at a club where they are the headline band.

Seeing live music is a very close second to skiing in terms of passions of mine. I typically see a show two or three days a month, if not more. A big part on the gf and I's decision to move where we are going is it has our favorite live music club in New England.

99% of new bands I'm turned onto is from Sirius. Their programming is unbelievable.
