Trip Report:
Excellent start to the season today at Killington. Arrived shortly before 10. It was thanks to a good samaritan that I was actually able to ski today... I relized that I forgot my debit card at school and I only had 30 bucks on me, but a nice person got me a ticket for the $30 I had in my pocket.
Anyways, pretty much alternated between Rime and Upper Dipper/Upper East Fall the whole time, other than one run down Reason to check out the features. Rime has great coverage, and had nice butter on the entire upper half. The lower half was a bit more skied off due to the increased traffic, but loose stuff was to be had on the sides. A bump line formed down the right side just after the GN crossing, probably a good 8-10 bumps long.
Upper Dipper had some fun crud to play in down the left side mixed in with a few mounds for jumping. That coupled with the fresh manky manmade on EF made for a fun time. EF started to get skied off around 1, so I don't know how that ended up.
Made 2 trips up the stairs... my fat ass is still tired from them but if you're in better shape than me they're not too bad. Better than not skiing at all.
All in all a fun 1st day out. Hopefully back out somewhere before I go home on Nov 19th... maybe Sunday River is in the cards with all the snowmaking they've been doing.
