Stop one on our tour of VT was Killington. Parked at Bear around 9:45. Bright blue skies and temps were reasonable. Took 3 runs before powhunter arrived. We poked around looking for bumps all day. We really canvased the entire mountain. Poached some woods near Rams head. I'll type more later after we get tanked...

BTW - The Beast was flat as a pancake. :-(

i was at killington on 2/8 and 2/9. it was pretty flat. monday was windy as hell so anything other than the hard pack it was in the trees. yesterday wasnt too bad. worked our way from bear to ramshead a few times each day trying to explore. seemed like there was a lot of trails that were closed that maybe could of been opened??? the hill was pretty calm until 11 or so then the numbers of skiers picked up. i would sure hate to be there next week. yikes!!
bonus is i live less than 35 miles from K. (gloating) :)

Did they plow all the bumps down on Needles Eye? There were great bumps there this weekend! Also, they let people ski the NORAM course on Outerlimits on Sunday. Did they mow that down too?

This is going to be epic hearing about this insanity that ensues with you guys this week. Pat blowing chow on the first night? :puke: What a baby. Plus he's bad luck. You guys are in NoVT and we're getting a foot. Good thing you're drunk.

There were a few bumps skiers right on Needles. The course on OL was still intact. Although the course was open to the public, there were a bunch of bumpers working on their aerials so we gave them their space. OL was boilerplate by the end of the end of the day.

Does the tree skiing at Killington ever open? The glade trails consistely show as closed on their website.

all of them were open until the rain came 2 weeks ago. we did hit some of the more low angle trees this weekend and there was a little pow on top of crunch. doable but not an oh wow. another 6-8" would probably be enough to open patsies, squeeze & maybe low rider. a bit more for throne, anarchy, julio & the bear trees. all of the snow keeps missing k.
