JAX? Above the Rub a Dub Pub? Is there a way to tell who you guys are?

Til the Zoners started hanging there, Jax was pretty empty, so just about anyone there will be a zoner :) . We take up most if not all of the bar. And yes it is above the Rub a Dub

I know that place well. Rub a Dub Pub saved me when my friend who handling our rental in December hadn't shown up to Killington yet. All I wanted was to dry my clothes and get a beer. (It had rained that day)

Alright ... as it turns out, everyone is going to wait until next weekend for the trip. :( They're planning on taking advantage of the late season rates which start next week. Thanks for all the tips we'll use them next week. (I should be up there, if not my buddies will)

I switched my plans for Okemo this weekend as my wife would like to take advantage of their easier terrain and I got a good ski and stay package at "The Castle." Room and 2/2 day lift tix for $218 a night. It probably works out the same as Killington if I got a room, a lift ticket for my wife and used my pass. Now Ty and Andy will you be at JAX that Saturday evening? If I can talk her into it maybe we'll take the short trip for the meet and greet.

I'll be there, can't speak for Ty and Ski Dork, but I believe they will be there as well.

we're up pretty much every weekend until closing (whenver that may be) and even after that (can't miss the 5th or 6th annual bubba-bash mem day weekend)

Don't go up there on my account, Andy. I probably won't be able to make it. I'm just trying to keep my options open.

So we got a decent price at the Inn of the Six Mountains. Andy, is your fall last week preventing you from skiing this weekend?

My fiancee & I stayed @ The Castle earlier this year & did the same deal. We absolutely loved the place.

Yes it was great! Did you eat dinner there? Not a bad place at all. It's been a while since I've had beef wellington.

Unfortunately, the main building was booked. We had to settle for a condo out back. Next year we're going to book nice and early for a room in the main building.

LOL, I kind of said that "tongue in cheek." They were very very nice, don't get me wrong. I was looking for that "gilded age" charm of the main building. The architectural detail inside that building was extraordinary.

Cool. If I make it to the meet-up. I have a blue and grey TNF Jacket, black giro 9 helmet. Grey TNF pants. I may just show up to shake your hand if my friends are being a pain, but it would be great to meet you. Black xwaves and volkl ac3's.

Since this thread is still around...

I need to put a plug in for the Kokopelli Inn. It's on Rte 4 about 2 miles east of the access road. I know the owner and he's a great guy.

Go there to stay or drink. I stopped in early this year and it was real nice inside. Real wood burning fireplace, pool table, flat panel TV's, the works.

Hot tub outside too. Always worth mentioning.

They were booked as of last week. Now I know why. Nice and close to the Skyship too.
