If anyone has skied either place this season would you please post what they're doing in regards to being in the lodges?

At Killington you had to show a vax card to get in, but that was during world cup so I'm not sure if that was only for the more crowded world cup weekend or if it is a thing all season.

I skied there but didn’t go in the lodge so my post is useless 😀

same. they didnt require or request masks for full gondola which i didn't love. normally i would avoid the gondola anyway bc who needs the very top of k-peak, but no choice early season. would have preferred required masking in a tiny cabin. i pulled my buff up and opened all the windows. whatever. if i got covid from it i was blissfully unaware of it.

All Vail properties are masks/face coverings on when inside lodges/buildings. If you're going to eat at one of their cafeteria/some sit down restaurant locations and age 12 or over, you need to show either your actual vax card, or a photo of it, or if you have a vax passport type app, that will do as well. Reservations are required to eat inside this season again.

If you're just going into the lodge to use the restroom, you only need to have a mask/face covering on and use the separate entrance for that, you don't need to show proof of vax status for restroom use.

There may some some other specific local retrictions/requirements based on what the local dept of public health regulations are at that time

I thought I read that a Gov't Issued Picture ID or your Pass was also required, and had to match name on Vacc Card

It's listed on their website. However that wasn't my experience, or any of my friends experiences last weekend.

Maybe if someone makes a big deal out of it they might check the name on their vax card vs their ID, but I suspect that unless one does make a big deal out of it, it won't happen.

Pretty sure if you walk up to the proof of vax check in area and have whatever form of proof you have out in hand, that they won't be asking for an ID to verify, as long as there isn't a big uptick in cases in that area

OK Good to know.
I did read it correctly, but they're not really enforcing it.

Hunter........unless you're vaccinated you can't go into the upstairs lodge (main lodge), bathrooms are downstairs. If you want to go to the bar you need to be Vax and wear a mask, once you get a drink in front of you, mask off. Now get this TWO drinks max, and you have to leave after 45mins. Plus NO shots while the lifts are running. I think i read Bar closes at 4:30 weekdays, 6:00 weekends. No fireworks, no music, no nothing. You want to see fireworks on New Years? Go to Windham! Oh yeah and this........VAIL SUCKS!!

I’m not too sensitive about Covid restrictions, mostly I’m like whatever, but that 45 minute stuff is ludicrous. What’s the point?

I was at Stowe and you need vax card to get into any lodge or bathroom..they even had 1 guy posted on the stairs between lower and upper level asking for cards..even if you were already inside on the upper and went down to lower..so I showed my card..quite a bit.
