Overcast, rain, fog soft snow
My first day of the 2010/2011 season. It was raining hard as I made my way up from CT. got to K1 base lodge right at 9 50 and was on the gondi at ten. The snow was super soft and spring like. They had just opened FIS trail due to the fresh snow they got last night, the snow was deep wet and heavy, but didn’t hit any rocks. From there spent the rest of the day on the north ridge area, skiing the four different trails; rime, reason ,east fall and dipper. A fair amount of people out today despite the iffy weather. Only rained for a few runs then stayed overcast for the rest of the afternoon. Everyone who I saw had a season pass not sure if they sold any day tickets. The peak walkways was pretty cool and I loved the ride down in K1 gondi. Had a great day left around 1:30 easy ride home
