Killington weds March 10, 2010
I have been up north for the past few days hitting magic then two days at killington here are some pictures and remarks for wed March 10, 2010
Completely awesome blue bird warm weather day, Killington has never skied so well, or at least in recent memory we started the day over on skye hitting ovation and superstar early then over to Killington where we made a quick trip to the summit, cat walk, power line and the royal flush trails were skiing great with plenty of big soft bumps. Snowdon was great too a little cool on the lift ride up, they groomed out great bear so we went back to the south ridge area via the K-1 gondola. Jug and jug handle were awesome super soft snow Didn’t ski OL but it looked good from the base of bear. We ended the day early around 1 pm to beat Hartford traffic which was fine by me as honestly I was quite worn out the past 6 days have been nothing but bumps, when I got back to the heartbeat I jumped in the Volvo and headed over to sundown …… I just couldn’t resist. it was so warm out. Sundown didn’t disappoint skied another 9 runs before dark, now to un-pack back at sundown tomorrow AM
pops on ovation at 9:09 AM
