Most have already heard that killington plans on putting signs up and opening a handful of the well known local glades.

Here are a couple locations I heard of.

1. Off Launch Pad up trail from Julio entrance.

2. Opposite wall of the canyon from julio. Beside Royal Flush

3. To the right of Devils Fiddle (known as bear's ass)

I will let everyone know if I find out more. This means that we are gonna have to look extra hard for new stashes.

No need for detective work. Just look at the new map that is now finally on line. All the "new" runs are right there for all to see.

I'm not into trees whatsoever and the one you describe as opposite wall of canyon, toilet bowl, was no secret stash.

Glades

The Killington resort people are famous for butchering their glades, but the natural course of >>expansion<< i.e. pushing your more adventurous population into the woods, seems to create new ones. I was up there for the first time in almost ten years last spring and was pleasantly surprised to be able to do a lot of tree/glades skiing. However, if you are looking for better stashes. I'ld try some of the other resorts. There's some great tree skiing at Sugarbush North, Magic, Mad River, Bretton Woods and Burke to mention a few alternatives.
