Yea you can always manage to avoid the crowds when they have everything open. That guy at the bubble always does a great job. Bear quad wasn't too bad most of the day and for a while in the morning Mike Solimano was managing the line

Great day yesterday !! I usually avoid Saturdays, but was surprised at the crowds (largely avoidable as mentioned) โ€ฆ at Bear, there was a line of cars parked a quarter mile down the access road from the lodge. Donโ€™t think I have ever seen that apart from the mogul challenge.

@MidnightJester sorry we werenโ€™t able to connect

Devils Fiddle had bumped up a bit by the time I got there

Sweet reports, great pics. Can't recall DF every having that coverage, and yet still rocks poking through lol. Hope this weeks event trends colder.

Canyon quad, Snowden triple, needles. Always ski on ish
Yea, the Snowden "Cripple" lived up to its name. Uncomfortable, stopping at least 5 times on the way up. The three girls in front of us rode the bull wheel around the top. Glad KK had a great day but the ride (cold ride) took a lot out of us. Did enjoy my first visit to the new K1 lodge however.

friday night is the ride that took a lot outta me

normally about 4-4.5 hours from jc to wrj/queechee

saw the storm forecast and asked my boss if i could leave at 4 instead of 5. left at 4. pulled into hotel 1130. so many cars in the ditch.

it was like shitty friday rain traffic thru springfield ma, and then really hard driving snow from springfield. got stuck behind 2 plows til the vt border. was kinda glad for the clear road escort, bc 91 from brattleboro to springfield vt was just a nightmare. lucky to do 35. springfield to wrj the snow lightened and it was safe to maintain about 55

VT use to do a very good job maintaining roads in bad weather. Now they are terrible. The dip near the rest stop in Brattleboro always has trucks slipping. Wouldn't take much for them to keep this area flowing. Ma probably does the best between CT/ MA and VT for maintaining the flow

saw a tow truck pulling a big rig truck out of the ditch probably around where you are describing. mack truck was off the right-side shoulder. part of me wanted to stick around and see a big rig towed out of the ditch on an active interstate.

What days of the week do the South Ridge and Canyon Quads run ? Couldnโ€™t find this info on the Killington website.

Apparently the Killington Road reconstruction has run afoul of the anti-DEI police:
So if there is DEI in that project they are screwed possibly. What does DEI have to do with roads lol.
Possibly They didn't hire enough turtle wearing snowboarders??
