Headed to Killington for the first time in a month not named October or May. Anything I would be remiss not skiing? Probably going to base out of the Skyeship on Rt 4 as I'll be rolling over from Hanover. Any tips would be appreciated.
Get there early - with the Ikon crowding, you are likely to have to park illegally on route 4 or up the bear road if you are arriving mid morning.

Arrive at noon and get rockstar free parking in Bay 1.

Hearing reports that cars are blocked in down at skyship. Ikon crowding exceeds parking capacity.

Great conditions yesterday at Killington. Thought it would be crowded as we enter the long weekend but it was a ghost town

The top of Squeeze Play was pretty nice but if you don't, know where to cross that water bar about about 2/3 of the way down the bottom can be a night mare.
Yeah that was me, stuck in nightmare land until I got to the bike trail (Black Magic I think it’s called)
Any tips on where to cross the water bar, I think I went too far right ?

Actually there is kind of a land mark to use. As the stream/water bar starts to appear and fall away from the terrain park and toward Snowden there is a pretty large downed tree in there. You want to stay above that tree and move to the left toward the terrain park. Most were staying to the right of the water bar and it looked very sketchy down there.

Best move is to stay skiers left the whole way down. Better pitch and you will see the water bar you need to stay left of quite easily. Most skiers get sucked down right into creek bed land.
