This guy gets it.I was going to suggest moving the Killllington discussion to the Plattekill thread, but this works too.
Your post reminds me of my third wife. Good things come in ones and two. The rule of thirds applies to pictures, butt not re-tread MILFsSticky and a little wet but great skiing including some woods
If the World Cup becomes a bi-annual thing (not sure if that's eventually the goal) I wonder if maybe they could make go back and forth between Superstar and Canyon each year for spring.
Guessing logistically it's probably never gonna happen due to the Umbrella Bar set-up and the fact Canyon won't make it as long as Superstar can in May. But the terrain switch up would be fun.
Why not both? Really no reason why they can't keep the Canyon & Superstar open into mid-May.If the World Cup becomes a bi-annual thing (not sure if that's eventually the goal) I wonder if maybe they could make go back and forth between Superstar and Canyon each year for spring.

They have done both on occasion when spring runs good. I've been there in early May (2015 and 2018 ring a bell in my head) where K1, Canyon, and Snowdon Triple were all still running and most of the terrain was still skiable including some woods. Why not both? May 1, 2022 was excellent. Whole Superstar pod (including upper ovation!), most of Snowdon, Caper and Timberline on Ramshead, K1 closed a bit early that year but you could easily hike over to the Canyon which had tons of snow left. They have done both on occasion when spring runs good. Be cool if the new ownership gave Mike the go ahead in good years to blow the Canyon really good so it can at least run into early May annually. It kind of sucks when they cut down to just Superstar by the 3rd weekend of April but it's mostly up to mother nature.
