Lake effect snow

can be a nice suprise. Whiteface picked up a foot since last night and it's still snowing. It was not in the forcast.

Whiteface has been picking up healthy amounts of lake effect lately. As ghost might say- "Adirondack Cold Smoke". Conditions have been nice.

Im going up to lake placid for a hockey tourny and was hopeing for some grat snow!

Who knows, but it was outstanding last season at that time. If it's a repeat this year I'll be happy.

I now have a direct line to the conditions there. Some people I know just moved up there. A trip up there soon will be needed.
