This has been an awesome year for high quality snow conditions at the Catskill Mountain ski resorts. I can't remember a year where the snow conditions were this good through out the ski season. It was a late start but once the ski areas got up and running the conditions may have been consistently better then they have ever been. So it seems to me anyway. What a great year so far for the Catskill mountains. Belleayre's moguls had awesome fresh dry powder covering the moguls this Sunday morning. Clare's at Hunter has been awesome the days I have skied there. Just a lot of fun skiing this year in the Catskills :spread: :snow:

From what I understand from friends there is less snow the further north of the Catskills you go. Is this true?
