He meant me, ;-)

Hardly. That day you did it was primo. Doesn't get much better. I'm talking about the days when Claire's is flat slick porcelain and these unsuspecting fools jump right into it all willy nilly.

No one has mentioned Killington's Outer Limits? I'm not a Killington regular by any means, but any time I've been to Outer Limits I see approximately 50% of the people on their ass, 49% frozen in fear, and 1% actually moving, trying to pick a line through the carnage.

i give this one another vote. Its ridiculous to watch at times from the lift.

Lower Arrow at Okemo after 2 pm. Everything from the west side of the mountain funnels to it getting back to the main base area

the hands down winner though is definitely early season bunny buster at Killington, I'm with riv on that one. I remember a very humbling experience skiing it when I was 8 taking my skis off and walking down it I was so overwhelmed with the mad house of people, slick ice straight down the middle and moguls on the sides

Conifer @ Wa--AGREE
Beauvallon @ Tremblant ( everybody from Jersey here @ the Same time :D) seriously crowded with newbies way over their head

Excelsior @ Whiteface-- like he said

MY FAVORITE ::North Face @ Snow Ridge --a 500 ft headwall that's it --no options--no bailout or chicken out options = Yardsale city. I've seen military guys here on a day trip from Fort Drum all machoed up "goin right to the top sir dont give a shit that i never been on these funny lookin boards before "

They often have the look of abject terror in their eyes as they whizz on their butts or guts leaving body parts , ski gear toques and other shit all over the hill. It is a sight to behold . Saw one dude try and SIT on the damn skis going down this thing , wipeouted massively on a few bumps half way down got UNINTENDED air ------------ trust me IT WAS UGLY . Felt sorry for teh poor guy he got pretty beat up blood on the snow routine , broken leg etc

I'm surprised noone has mentioned Goat Path at Jay Peak near the cliff wall. It's not steep or narrow or technical, but it's usually windscraped down to boilerplate in the middle. I loooove looking at lower intermediates eyes as they fill with fear  when they realize it's thier only way down. I've seen lot's of folks try to walk down it and that usually doesnt go well eithther. It can usually be skied on it's sides if you keep in the fall line.

The trail to the base area at Ortesino at Folgaria, Italy. Maybe not the most falls, but one of the most spectacular "in over your head" moments I've ever seen. my wife and I loved the run, so we did about 8 laps of it. On about the third trip up the lift, we realized that the couple struggling to get down the hill was the same couple we'd seen twice already. On our way down the 5th time, or so, we saw the guy from teh couple, skis off, postholing up the side of the side of the trail. Seriously, thought he as going to have a heart attack. He said he was okay, though, just couldn't make it down the slope. The trail is a red there, probably a solid blue here. Not too steep, plenty wide, the only trouble was it was a little bumped up, but with huge, wide, soft humps. I guess the European ski school style of going all the way across the trail wasn't working so well.

Chai 4 at Greek Peak is over Zues----a lot of free entertainment goes on on that little headwall. It's steep but not that long so everyone thinks they can do, well, that's just not the case:lol:

This may sound funny but Trigger at Gunstock. The trail gets pretty crowded and scraped off quick. Upper Trigger is a blue so beginners and lower intermediates will head down it but then Middle Trigger gets a little steeper. Towards the second half of the day you have to navigate through the people stopped at the top of the steeper sections and the people that have fallen on the hill. Lots of bodies down on that one.

White Heat at Sunday River...the main headwall has a steep pitch and gets polished by all the folks in over their heads...if they blow snow on it overnight, by 10am its looking like a mirror. Always good for some gaper watching from the lift...the sad part is, you've got to ride the lift to ski it so you know damn well what you're in for. Other than that, Tucks on a warm spring weekend has more than its fair share of yard sales and slides for life.

Claire's Way at Hunter. Reason? Just a lot of gapers getting in over their heads on a notoriously slick and steep trail.ABSOLUTELY Claires at Hunter. I always ski down Wayout then take the lift to check out the action from the chair over Claires before I do a blind run down it. I have some really funny (or scary) video of the gaper action shot from the chair. "Is this the Belt Parkway?"
