Take the gondola...folks have been known to hang out with the easter bunny and the tooth fairy on the way up.

I would tell everyone I was hiking up, you know, to be cool, then I would actually take the lift. Unfortunately, after sking my fav way down, when I was young, Hillmans Highway, I would be faced with a dilema. Do I hike up the rest of the day to ski the ravine or hike down to Pinkham Notch to take the lift again.

I guess that brings up an important question. Does your lift start at PN or the bottom of the ravine? Hmmmm  :D

I wonder what the response was years ago when they decided to build a public use road to the top of Mt Washington?

Top of Wildcat.

Think of the global publicity that lift would bring. If the state of Vermont can argue and actually did introduce a bill in congress that Lake Champlain should become an addition to the "Great Lakes" than the Mt Washington Inter-Mountain lift would certainly deserve votes as a new " 8th wonder of the world". :D

Would you take the lift or skin up?

Thats like would you pump water from the handpump they put in or get your water from the creek by Hojos?

Lots of people didn't like when they put the pump in...
