This Lily Camera throw and go drone would be very cool to video your next run down the mountain. Price is reasonable. Its probably all legal until they change the rules ;-)

$820 isn't that good of a price for something so limited. The DJI Phantom 3 Advanced is $999 (currently on sale for $799) and has SO much more functionality. And now DJI has added a "follow me" function in the latest firmware. The only thing the Lily has going for it that is unique is how waterproof it is.

It's a great concept, but it really needs to be at about $400-$500.

This ones a little more pricey but....If the lift lines are too long could you program it to land at the bottom ? Heli/Drone

I wouldn't even think of doing that. No ski area in their right mind would allow these.

Now that's a drone. You don't need to land it at the bottom. Just do a fly by the lift line. After everyone runs away, no more lift line.

Hell, with that thing you could do solo heliskiing. It drops you off at the top and goes and lands in a pre-programmed location at the bottom while you ski down. You rip off 5-6 laps and then fly home.

Once you're done skiing you can ride it back to your volcano fortress.
