Wonder if we'll ever see a dominant skier excel in Freestyle AND Speed events at the same time. You do see some skiercross competitors that come from either background, which tells me if you rip, you rip.

IMO, put a seeded course in a section of the skiercross event. Forget about style points, judges only disqualify skiers that take down another skier due to crashing or cutting into another line. This will decide best overall skier.

Or, put the seeded course right at the start of a skiercross course. Just a hunch that 5 folks flying into a seeded bump course at 40-50mph would get real ugly, real quick! :lol:

Lindsey is not allowed to wear her Red Bull helmet during the Olympics, because corporate logos are banned and the official sponsors pay millions. Official sponsors include Coco-Cola, McDonalds, Visa, GE, Chevrolet, etc.

So Lindsey and NBC held a "Design Lindsey Vonn's Helmet Contest", they got 300 entries and this was the design she picked:

Her sponsor Red Bull based in Austria provides her with 2 full time trainers to get and keep her in state of the art physical conditioning and shape year round. Red Bull brings her to a huge facility in Austria in the summer which is built for a Soceer team's conditioining and training. They use this facility for intense workouts to build and tone her muscles. This is all state of the art training and conditioning. To improve her German she speaks to her 2 trainers and her Head ski tech almost entirely in German.

I wish the camera didn't focus on the coach as much in the early parts of the video. It would have been instructional to see how she does those exercises with the big rubber ball. I try to do ski specific workouts and I only see them described in magazines.
