Well today is November 10th, the 231st Anniversary of the Marine Corps, and to celebrate it, we all got 2 beers! WOOO!!!! I am on the bottom right

Happy Veteran's Day LLam. I helped host a Veteran's Tribute Dinner with some students of mine last night. All went well. The quote of the evening of speeches was "Veteran's day isn't a day for you to have off from work. It's a day to find a Vet and thank Him or Her."

I used to ski and drink with a buddy of mine who's a Vietnam Vet.. But with this weather - I guess we'll have to wait..

When do you get sent home?

Thank you. I don't know the definite date I will get back, but it will most likely be the 3 possibly the 4th week of January. I will return to my duty station (Camp Pendleton, CA), and be there for only a week hopefully, then they will let everyone go on leave. So I will be skiing in NE hopefully late Jan most likely early Feb. Of course things can change in an instant, but as it stands right now, that is the schedule.

Hey! I think my best friend just got transfered to Camp Pendleton. He's living in San Clemente; would that make sense?

Yes it would, I've been through there a few times, its right by Pendleton.
