lodging in berlin/gorham area

looking for good / inexpensive lodging with pool in the gorham/berlin area. Looking to hit up the jericho and success ohva parks for a few days.

I don't think HP includes any amenities. But the Mt Madison Motel, across the street, is pretty reasonable and they've always treated me well.

Royalty is a bit more expensive, and not really worth it IMO. It's not bad, but you don't get anything extra for the money.

Hiker's had an above-ground pool but it was taken down last year.

I'll second the Mt. Madison, very friendly, clean, decent, and pet-friendly, too.

However, a train or two does go by at night right behind the motel, so if you're a very light sleeper you may have an issue.

I've stayed at the Royalty Inn a few times and it's been fine. Nothing fancy but after skiing all day who cares? I like that they have a lap pool, so I always go back.
