Fun day out at Loon today, but man the snow conditions turned to SC pretty quick! North Peak was socked in the clouds, much like the peak of Cannon yesterday. Weird to think that only last week the high was 2F, and today everytime we got on the lift, gloves came off and the zippers came down on the coats! But, it could be worse, Loon is almost 100% open!

Cruiser over on South Peak was pretty good until the bottom, where it was getting pretty mashy. Upper Walking Boss would've been a lot more fun except for the clouds.

Favorite run was Upper/Lower Rumrunner. Not many skiers or riders, snow was not heavy, easy to grip, and no clouds! Big Dipper had a nice cover, and so did Angel Street. Blue Ox was fun too for the days last runs on Loon Mountain, before heading over to the North Peak Quad, skiing down Sunset to go to the Tote Road Quad to ski to the base of South Peak where my car was parked.

Primary surface conditions were MGR and WTSN, and some thin spots at trail merges.

Couple more days of mild weather, and hopefully Mr. Freeze will come back!
