Mad River Glen sunrise tour 11-30-08

Pretty self explanatory title. The next morning we started hiking just after 7am and caught the sunrise, sort of (it was somewhat cloudy).

It's been warm and rainy. Late start to the season... granted I could always go ski a volcano but I'm waiting for the freakin ski areas to get some real snow. I guess the good thing is that it's not uncommon to get storms of feet at a time... so as long as we get one of those we're all set. freakin warm I tells ya. I'm jealous right now

cool frost on sunday morning

austin found some good stuff above birdland

then allen showed up and led the way to some good skiing... no epic deep powder, but see his analogy in austin's thread...that'll explain it

Very nice pics! This one here is my favorite & has to be a finalist for one of the best pics of the '08-'09 season (even though it's early). I'll bet MRG would love to have a copy of that on their website. Great job guys!
