what would that leave me for ski time, about 23 minutes?

sorry if i sound bitter but i am. and i'll be even more bitter when i see your pics and or vid.

You can drop them off here. She'll have to come get them, though.

Didn't mean to rub salt in the wound. Just thought there might have been an option for you on one end of the day. 4 hours at MRG is still a lot of skiing.

But if Magic's the only option, "settle" for that!

Oh you didnt, like i said, i'm just getting sick of missing these trips.

I did. WTH, I'm home with kids anyway. They'll have to sleep on the couches if it's really early, though.

that's one hell of an offer but my older daughter has kindergarten. She starts at 8:45 so that wouldnt really work either. in the past, i'd be able to drop them off at day care a little early but you cant do that with school.

thanks again though!

Too bad she's not in afternoon. :( Sorry! I feel for you, I do... If there's anything I can do to help out sometime, just let me know.

Magic isn't just gnarly stuff... the east side has plenty of great cruising terrain... more twisty and generally narrower than the McMountain trails but certainly not difficult and much more interesting and fun to ski than a superhighway cut straight down the falline.
plus because there's ample terrain and it doesn't get crowded you can often find lightly tracked or even decent patches of untracked pow on the edges of the east side trails two or more days after a storm.

I love MRG but it definitely gets tracked out faster than Magic in my experience. Having to make a destination decision between the two is a good problem to have though.

After seeing all the recent TRs, pics, and videos from Magic I was seriously considering hitting them up instead of MRG. I'm sure you'll have a good time tomorrow, maybe even some fresh tracks if they got any snow since Monday??
