March is the best month to ski; warming temps, great snow, less crowds, more predictable weather. I never understood why folks don't take more advantage of spring skiing. Don't get me wrong, CM, I love when it starts to get warm outside too, but part of me feels empty inside knowing the ski season is only another 5-6 more weeks (for me anyway)...

I am with you 100%.

Uh oh, here come the "hearty-types" to blow up our argument.

too busy

Too busy skiing. In for a couple days to file reports and expense accounts then back to Northern Vermont for the weekend. Best snow of the winter so far. Nuther Powder day. Remember, when it's sunny in the valley, it's still snown in the hills - and truth be told, it doesn't show up on the radar.
Even here it doesn't show: http://www.letstalkweather.com/cgi-bin/powder?zipcode=05678

Snowed all day at Loon yesterday...

Terry's right. work keeps getting in the way.
How does it go, "A bad day skiing is always better than a good day at work.."

It's quiet today as well.

I guess that there are a bunch of lucky people out there who were able to take today off and hit the slopes. Wish I was one of them. :-?

Been busy with work and home and skiing :)

Skied Monday night in the storm, Wednesday night for fun and getting ready to go tonight up to Catamount. And then taking the kids on Sunday as well. I'll end up with 5 times out in 8 days! Best snow of the year around here right now!

I hate that line. Works with fishing, but on a bad day of skiing, you can break into pieces.

As to the original topic, I'm not here a lot, so I thought the place was kinda busy.

I know why I haven't been writing lately - I've been too exhausted from skiing all this rock star powder!!

Mad River Tues. and Wed. was a religious experience. Knee deep freshies in the most beautiful woods in the world. I skied every run like it was my last, and came home pretty spent both nights. I was content to do no more than sip bourbon and read a good book.
