Interesting marital test from the 30's for those that are married or in a long term committed relationship..

http://www.magatsu.net/maritaltest/index.php

I scored a 77 (76+ - Very Superior is the highest category), which apparently is a bad thing in the eyes of my wife...

...and apparently I'm a poor specimen of a wife by 1939 standards. I was a 41. (I actually was a 42 but Brian took a point away from me!)

All this proves is that men are still chauvinist pigs, while women are now enlightened and no longer slaves of archaic mentalities.

Well we are a tad older than you guys and dated many others before we met so really KNEW what we wanted even tho we were married at 22 and 21 yrs of age ! Times were differant in 1965 when we married . You got your HS and College yrs and dated a helluva lot then MOST of our generation were married and had kids and a Mortgage by 25 ---differant than today .

We started Young , and our responsibilitie s ended while we were still young . My Daughter entered college when we were 39 . Many at her orientation thought we were graduate students -- WE LUVED it

My wife today can easily pass for a woman 25 years younger than she is --- I chose well HER MOM was the same way and my bro in law is 66 a bachelor 6'3" 185 lbs dark brown full head o hair. SOB looks 35 damn him !

People sure got married and had kids young back in the day...not to many guys enjoyed 20 and 30-something bachelor-hood(ie-the frat-boy lifestyle with an income)..and not many ladies enjoyed the young professional Sex and the City lifestyle..Did you and your wife meet in college?

I'm 52 and my first one is just starting college. We live in a town where older is better. I think we are one of the youngest parents of our daughter's class! I think when the youngest leaves the house, I'll start that "frat boy" thing again.....

Yep met after my soph yr she was at a different school than me . I was a jock and also played in a band had met lots of women ,started dating very young like 12 -13 yo in those days :D

AS Far as BILSKI and DHS comments are concerned -- its a generational thing STD meant STANDARDS in my lexicon not Crotch cooties :D

The first step is growing a soul patch...then you need to get a visor..followed by cargo shorts..
