That sucks to hear. I just hope that the family does not go and sue the mountain,

Warren's son, Douglas Warren, told the Cape Cod Times his father hit a patch of ice, struck a tree off the trail and died of chest injuries. Douglas Warren said his father was wearing a helmet.

How does this have anything to do with the incident?

Unfortunate, but I'd rather go out skiing when I'm old than spend years in some nursing home. Although I'd prefer to do it in my 80's or 90's . . .

Awful, RIP. Sad story, at least he died while enjoying the great outdoors and doing something he likes. My thougths to the family.

I live in the next town over from him. People in my office today said he was an awesome guy. Very sad, I doubt there will be a suit, why would it? My thoughts go out to his family and friends.

From someone who's been almost there - there's a lot of things we say, but when the time comes, no matter when it is, you don't want to. Not as long as you're still viable. The only people that are actually ready to go are the ones who have come to the end. Savor every day that your breathing and hope that you last till the home. No need to rush things.
