may I suggest a section listing current bump runs for all mountains instead of focusing on the big 5-6 there?

Great - I just finished reading Everything The Instructors Never Told You About Mogul Skiing, and I would not have had to buy it if I just waited for the launch ;)

Consider adding a couple of other main sections to the site - "drills" and "fitness" maybe.

Good luck!

Look at the bottom of the individual resort pages... that's right there. I've emailed all of the mountains on the list, and heard back from several. They will be sending a weekly list of open bump runs. Obviously, it won't really pick up for another month or so when some bump terrain is actually open.

thinnmann... thanks for your suggestions as well. I will try to put those sections together.

I saw those, very cool. But I meant are you eventually going to list other mountains besides those? They don't necessarily have to be real time reports like from the Bush or Killington, but it would be cool to see where the usual bump runs are - like Sel's Choice at Pokemo or Beartrap at Mount Snow, if you're looking to go somewhere : )

Yeah, that would be cool. The problem is that there are so many areas, and to keep an updated list of all eastern and western mountains that typically have decent mogul runs would be mind boggling. We'll see as things progress with the site what I am able to accomplish. I'm going to have to draw the line somewhere for the moment, because I don't have time to make it a full time project. I've got classes, work, and self-enforced bump training. But you never know... could happen. I might be able to enlist the help of some other people to help compile a list of the usual bump runs from these places, and add them a little at a time.

pm me if i can help you here. I'd be willing to do some grunt work to get areas to report semi-real time on what trails are bumped up.

Thanks for all the comments, everyone. I had the opportunity to meet the US Mogul Team today at Winter Park, and took some pix and vid of training. I'll have them up on the site later tonight.

I cannot even imagine the work that would be involved in keeping an up to date listing of all/many resorts that currently have bump runs open, let alone listing how many such runs and then naming them.

On the other hand, this would be an incredibly useful tool, that I would imagine would generate a ton of traffic and repeat visits. I mean, if it were accurate enough, bump skiers could base their trip decisions based solely on the page's reports. As a result, I imagine it could generate a decent amount of revenue, assuming that a mountain trying to lure bumpers would pay to advertise on it. Are you hoping the site will generate revenue?
